Purpose of our Campaign
The purpose of the Brothers 4 Recovery StartSomeGood campaign is to continue their already proven, unbelievable work across Australia and its remote Aboriginal communities delivering Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Suicide prevention talks.
Brothers 4 Recovery are passionate, raw, honest and inspiring as they deliver their first hand experience off addiction and depression, and tools to overcome these personal barriers to live a healthier and happier life.
Who We Are:
Brothers 4 Recovery have travelled over 14,000kms in just 12 months inspiring and changing lives.
B4R are looking to make an impact on the suicide rates due to substance abuse in smaller more remote communities and with your help they can reach out and help make change.
All money raised via StartSomeGood will go towards spreading the awareness and reaching those communities directly effected who unfortunately do not have the funding to implement on their own.
In 12 months of unfunded work Steve and Jeff have driven this cause with passion from the ground up which has seen them deliver to over 6000 school kids across NSW starting that positive ripple effect within each community and school they reach.
Brothers 4 Recovery is a Not for Profit unfunded company owned and run by two men Jefferey Amatto and Steve Morris.
Both Jeff and Steve are recovering Drug addict alcoholics who once went through years of misery and pain, jail and hospitals trying to find a way out of the revolving door of Drugs and alcohol abuse and suicide attempts.
Jeff was a 14 year homeless Heroine addict in and out of the jail system and Steve Heavily addicted to Alcohol, ICE and a survivor of a scary suicide attempt now travel Australia telling their personal journeys of experience, strength and hope to Schools and communities to inspire change and provide firsthand experience on how to overcome life's difficult obstacles to make an impact on deaths relating to substance abuse.

Jeff Amatto (B4R Co Founder) - Addiction and Recovery
A 38Yr old Wiradjuri man who was Raised on Nanima Mission just outside Wellington NSW.
Jeffery’s childhood consisted of a welfare dependent single mother and father who he has never had any contact with his entire life. Jefferey was a kid who fell into addiction and crime at a young age as he did not have that positive role model that was necessary for young boys to have on Nanima Mission. At the age of 14 Jeff dropped out of school and started experimenting with Alcohol & Drugs which progressed over the years which seen him heavily addicted and in jail by the age of 18.
Jeff was in heavy addiction with a revolving door of Crime, Jail, Drugs and Alcohol for the next 12 years of his life until the age of 31. Today Jeff is 7 and a half years free from Drugs and Alcohol which sees him raise his 2 young children with his partner Cara on the Central Coast NSW and is a massive role model in his home town of wellington.

Our Logo
Our B4R logo was created by Nathan Peckham a Wriadjuri man
from Dubbo NSW. Nathans digital and Art work is highly regarded, regularly
doing major works for corporate organizations and companies. Nathan approached Brothers 4 Recovery off the back of seeing
all the great work in which we were doing and offered if he could come up with
a few ideas for an official ‘Brothers 4 Recovery Logo and tag line’. Our logo depicts a strong message of inspiration. It is a
picture of men sitting around a fire delivering a strong message of hope,
strength and resilience.
Along with our tag line “Stay Clean, Stay Sober, Stay Deadly'
