About Us
Access Revolution (AR) improves quality of life for those who live with disabilities by promoting access to the outdoors, recreation and connection to nature. We are a small social-impact business that works with communities and individuals to create new outdoor adaptive opportunities.
We introduced adaptive paddle boarding to Canada and the demand is continuously growing. We are trailblazers and ambassadors of new and innovative adaptive recreation equipment that we believe in. Hiking, paddling and exploring is purely human nature. We hope to implement as many programs as possible, bring communities together, and spread awareness of what is truly possible.
We recruit Access Champions across the globe and provide the tools, equipment and resources necessary to make their outdoor spaces accessible to all.
Our Project
The goal is to provide an amazing day of adaptive adventure to communities that do not have the necessary resources. Imagine people of all abilities, communities and families coming together for a fun-filled day of exploration on the water and in the trails.
Our mission is to invite communities to experience a special day of inclusion featuring the Onit Ability Board and GRIT Freedom Chair. The independence and freedom felt while exploring the outdoors is truly empowering - Help make this vision a reality!
Our minimum goal is to raise $8000. This will enable us to visit a number of communities across BC and provide adaptive paddling and hiking to these deserving communities. If we reach our ultimate goal of $15000, we will collectively donate an adaptive paddle board to the community that helped raise the most funds during our campaign. Access Revolution will donate the necessary training, equipment transport, and services required to support a new adaptive paddling program for the highest pledging community.
