What we want to build:
Quite simply, the best retirement planning tool ever. We are building a retirement planning and tracking app that will revolutionize the ability for users to participate in their own retirement planning process. Our app will teach you how to plan for retirement,
organize the resources you currently have in place, help you understand what else you might need to get in place, and direct you to strategies that can help you achieve your retirement goals. It will be like having a personal retirement planner in your pocket.
And best of all, the basic version of the app will be free!

Why we want to build it:
Retirement in America is broken. It's that simple. And it's not just a little broken, but year after year it continues to get worse. The good news is that a lot of people are probably better off than they realize. But the only way they will ever realize
what their situation is if they have the right tools and are motivated to get more involved in the process. We believe our app can help to achieve both. This will be a tool that anyone can use to put themselves on the path to a better retirement future.
Who it's for:
Everyone. That is the entire point of the app: To revolutionize the ability for all individuals to participate in the retirement planning process, regardless of their financial background, or lack thereof. That's why the app will be free. Most people aren't
currently planning for their retirement because it's overwhelming, they lack the basic skills to do so, or can't afford to pay someone to do it for them. Or all three. This app will break down these traditional barriers to participation, making it possible
for everyone to be better prepared for retirement. We believe that retirement can be fixed one person at a time.

Why us:
App creator Scott Beck has spent the last ten years teaching financial planning concepts, investing methodologies, and trading strategies to thousands of individuals across the country. His job was to take complex concepts and make them accessible and understandable
to all individuals, regardless of their financial background.
The only thing Scott lacked was the experience necessary to bring a project like this from a concept to a working product. So he decided to team up with his brother Matthew, who brings more than a decade of project management and coding experience to the
table. With Matt's help, we now have a working prototype of the app. With your help, we will be able to fully complete the app and get it out to the public, making retirement planning an accessible reality for millions of people who might not have the ability
to participate in the process through any other means.
Why now:
The trends of retirement planning get worse by the year. Every day that people wait to start planning for retirement only contributes to making the situation worse. There are a number of reasons why the retirement landscape has become so bleak, but we believe
the worst of them is the lack of individual involvement. The sooner we can get this app out to the public, the sooner we can try to reverse this trend and give people the ability to take control of their own financial futures.
