The serious health crisis we are currently experiencing, caused by Covid-19, is affecting the whole world. However, in regions of the world that do not have the same means to deal with Covid-19, the effects of this pandemic can be devastating.
That is why we ask for your help in sending medical supplies to Good Shepherd Hospital in Siteki, Eswatini (former Swaziland).
We are a multidisciplinary team with experience in renewable energy. We are currently developing a project to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources to be installed at Good Shepherd Hospital. The hospital currently covers an area of about 225,000 people in the Lubombo area, with 250 beds available to cope with an exceptional situation. In recent weeks, hospital managers have conveyed their concern about the COVID-19 crisis, providing us with a list of needs to cope with this situation, primarily Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for hospital staff.
As we know the region and are aware of the serious problem that the spread of Covid-19 will cause, we feel obliged to collaborate in all possible ways to help these healthcare professionals to minimize the impact that Covid-19 will have in this region. Your collaboration is essential to send medical material to Good Shepherd Hospital as urgently as possible.
This initiative is promoted by the Alambique para la Poesia Foundation in partnership with other companies in Portugal, Spain and England that have joined this solidarity action.
Make your contribution.
Thank you for your support.
