A passionate, driven, ambitious and hard working young businessman and entertainer - Dylan Manov is a Melanoma skin cancer survivor using his own personal battle to inspire skin cancer awareness, sun protective habits, and passionate about saving lives/reducing the skin cancer diagnosis statistics.
DYLAN'S STORY
Before being diagnosed with Skin Cancer, Dylan had an 'it'll be right' mentality to sunscreen and getting his moles checked, infrequently being sun smart under the hot Australian summer sun. That was until a few years ago, when he decided to be pro-active in getting his skin checked. At that point that is where Dylan's life dramatically changed, as he was diagnosed with a Melanoma.
Dylan has since had the Melanoma successfully removed, however since returning has had multiple (over 6) pre-cancerous moles proactively removed.
You are not superman, everyone is at risk of the dangers of skin cancer, so what you do now will prolong and potentially save your life.
Since this life changing event, Dylan has chosen to empower others through creating awareness, attending keynote seminars and speaking engagements, and various PR related media events however, to truly create change more is needed.
You can do one of two things in life when something gets you down, you can let it keep you down - or you can fight and use that as fuel to achieve more than you thought you were capable of.
The next progressive step is Dylan's mission to create The Happy Skin Co. offering a range of sun/skincare products that promote the message that you are in control of you own skin's health.
THE MISSION
In order to create real change in the world, Dylan aims to create a fun, vibrant skincare brand that appeals to all ages, promoting sun safe practices, with a percentage of all product profits directly supporting skin cancer research and awareness here in Australia. They say aim for the stars and if you fall short you are on the moon, so our mission is to end skin cancer in our lifetime - but we need your help!
By helping launch Skincare With A Mission, you are supporting the dreams of a Melanoma survivor wanting to save lives, assisting in life saving skin cancer research and awareness building, and lastly, helping launch a brand that can genuinely help people live longer, healthier, happier lives!
WHO ARE THE HEALTHY SKIN CO.
Dylan is a young entrepreneur currently working full time for family owned Music Cruise company Choose Your Cruise, he also is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Innovation & Enterprise) degree at Flinders University. He has had recent academic accolades such as admission to the Golden Key International Honour Society (recognised as being within the world's top 15% of academics - with a current GPA of 6.83), both the Dean's Letter of Commendation & also the Chancellor's Letter of Commendation from Flinders University, additionally has recently successfully completed a Entrepreneurship Essentials Certificate program through the prestigious Harvard Business School (HBX).
