Unframed Festival - RAISE THE DEBATE

Das Unframed Festival macht es sich seit 2015 jährlich zur Aufgabe gesellschaftspolitische Diskurse in den Vordergrund zu rücken, die – obwohl allgegenwärtig – medial nur bedingt Gehör bekommen.
Primär geht es uns um das Sichtbarmachen von gesellschaftlichen Machtverhältnissen, lokal wie global. Wir möchten Menschen, Gruppen und Bewegungen eine Bühne zu geben, die mit den gewählten Themen persönlich konfrontiert sind! Dabei fördern wir das Gespräch MITEINANDER, nicht übereinander!
Dieses Jahr wird das Festival unter dem Motto Economy of resistance - Global society in transformation stattfinden. Wie ist globale Transformation möglich? Welche verschiedenen Perspektiven auf Transformation gibt es? Zusammen mit DIR, möchten wir die Notwendigkeit einer ökonomischen, sozialen und globalen Transformation diskutieren - mit dem Ziel die herrschende soziale Ungleichheit zu hinterfragen.
Dabei bleiben wir jedoch unframed: Themenschwerpunkte werden sowohl neokoloniale Theorie, globale Wirtschaftsverhältnisse, Critical Whiteness sowie Produktionsformen & Arbeitsweisen sein. Unser Festivalprogramm zeichnet sich durch Diversität aus: es besteht aus Vorträgen, Workshops, Filmaufführungen, Kunstinstallationen, Musik und vielem mehr!
UNSERE ZIELE:
- gesellschaftspolitische Diskussionen zwischen Aktivist*Innen und Künstler*Innen fördern
- junge Talente unterstützen und ihnen eine Bühne geben
- ein Netzwerk gestalten, für politisch und künstlerische Aktivist*Innen
- ein Multiplikator für neue Ansichten in Berlin zu sein
IN EINEM RAUM:
- frei von Sexismus, Rassismus & anderen Formen der Diskriminierung
- der komplett kostenfrei und damit für ALLE zugänglich ist!
Hilf uns dabei neue Perspektiven in Berlin zu verbreiten!
Alle Teilnehmenden (Organisator*Innen wie auch Kunstschaffende) arbeiten ehrenamtlich für das Projekt, jedoch brauchen wir noch DEINE HILFE, um Workshop Material, Reisekosten für die Künstler_Innen, Druckkosten und technische Ausrüstung finanzieren zu können!

Since 2015, the Unframed Festival has made it its mission to focus on socio-political discourses that - although omnipresent - are only partially heard in the media.
Primarily we are concerned with the visualization of social power relations, local and global. We want to give people, groups and movements a stage that are personally confronted with the chosen topics! We promote the conversation TOGETHER, not on top of each other!
This year the festival will be held under the motto Economy of resistance - Global society in transformation. How is global transformation possible? What different perspectives on transformation are there? Together with YOU, we want to discuss the need for economic, social and global transformation - with the aim of questioning the prevailing social inequality.
At the same time, however, we will remain unframed: Main topics will be neo-colonial theory, global economic conditions, critical whiteness, as well as forms of production and working methods. Our festival program is characterized by diversity: it consists of lectures, workshops, film performances, art installations, music and much more!
OUR GOALS:
- Promote socio-political discussions between activists and artists
- Support young talents and give them a stage
- creating a network for political and artistic activists * inside
- to be a multiplier for new views in Berlin
IN A ROOM:
- free from sexism, racism & other forms of discrimination
- which is completely free of charge and thus accessible to ALL!
Help us to spread new perspectives in Berlin!
All participants (organizers as well as artists) volunteer for the project, but we still need YOUR help to finance workshop materials, travel expenses for the artists, printing costs and technical equipment!
