About This Project

My dream to make our world a little bit more peaceful. 


To build a special Meditation & Culture Center
including a
small school & shelter for our homeless street kids in
Cambodia.


 


Let me tell you something shortly about myself.


I have seen / experienced
too much suffering around the world during my many years of work as
News cameraman and First Aid medical lieutenant
in many war zones.


After (I call it an accident in Afghanistan 13 years ago) I got very badly injured and during the surgery I died for almost three minute and the doctors already gave up on me
but for some reason


I came back to life.


What I have seen / experienced in these three minutes changed after my whole life but it still took me 13 years more until I made my final decision to change my life
completely and decided to become Buddhist Monk.


Today is nothing more important to me than give
all my power and experience to dedicate, to
those who suffering very badly and are too poor and inexperienced to help themselves.

Our community is huge and many of my followers / friends from around the world supported my work already
a lot but I simply feel not so happy to ask all my friends always again and again to donate for some of my work.








This little girl is Kunthea. She stepped a few months ago in her province
behind her home on a landmine and lost both her legs.


 





I found this man, Mr. Kcha in front of my temple.
He was
almost starved to death.








These pictures are still
reality in Cambodia as well as in too many other poor countries around the world.


Nobody especially not our children deserve to "live" like that.


 



 



 


We all know. We can not help everyone but at least, we can help someone.





 




Please help that my dream of a better future for these awesome kids come true. 




 


 

Use Of Funds

$15,000 Tipping Point Goal

Unfortunately we can not open our
Meditation & Culture Center and our school & shelter inside our temple because we
simply don't have a empty building for it.


Which means:



We need to rent a building outside close to our temple and need to renovate and create it according to our expectations and experience.


The rent for a building big enough for our center, with one huge room for our meditation classes and at least five another class rooms and bedrooms for our kids, will be between
US $ 1,500 - 2,000 


We have to make sure that we have enough savings to provide for the first three month all expenses. Which means for the first three month around
US $ 8,000 


Further we need to renovate / paint and other little changes to create our center according to our expectations. This will be cost not more than around
US $ 2,000 we have many friends who will help us for free of charge.


We need to buy (simple) school tables, chairs, school boards, teaching materials as books and all these necessary "little" things. School tables, chairs, school boards we can find used ones in good condition. All together will be not more than
US $ 2,000


Two office computer, all in one printer and other office materials as shelves, cabinets, office tables, chairs, which we can find used ones as well.
US $ 3,000


If we could raise our Ultimate Goal of US $ 20,000 we would have more savings for any
unexpected expenses.


Every of our staff are Buddhist Monks and
volunteers and don't need to get a monthly salary.
