Operation Mobilise is a movement uniting the youth to develop long-term solutions to the homeless problem. To develop an understanding of what the homeless experience, the team has decided to spend a night sleeping on the streets with no comforts. No phone. No beds. No food.
Mobilise heads into the heart of the problem, developing deeper relationships with the homeless, raising awareness of the situation that many people find themselves in daily & identifying how we can make a difference. We seek to mobilise together the youth of Victoria, a group often disengaged from societal issues but with the capacity to bring change.
Heading on monthly city missions, we distribute care packages to the homeless & spend time talking to those in need. With Christmas coming up, we want to put on a large Christmas mission with the potential of a BBQ & Christmas presents to serve as a beacon of hope for the homeless.
