What is Cultured Pearls Empowerment Group for Girls?
Cultured Pearls Empowerment Group for Girls is a character building organization whose overall mission is to produce young women who will be positive contributions to their immediate communities and beyond.
Understanding that effective change must involve the majority, Cultured Pearls is an organization that closes the gap between generations, providing mentors for “Pearls” who are, not only role models within
their community, but the catalyst for local, national, and global change.
What do we do?
Cultured Pearls Empowerment Group for Girls utilizes a unique curriculum that identifies the issues our participants face in their everyday lives and through mentorship, reflection and open expression;
we guide and nurture our girls to be leaders in their community.
The participants of Cultured Pearls are matched with an exceptional mentor, one who has overcome similar life obstacles and can provide our Pearls with the encouragement necessary from first-hand experience.
We currently meet biweekly during the school year with monthly community service projects that help uplift our immediate community.
Why do we do it?

Therefore, we exist to empower our Pearls through our words and our actions; we live and lead by example.
The curriculum of Cultured Pearls Empowerment Group for Girls is founded on the principles of:
- Self awareness/self esteem
- Higher Education/College Preparedness
- Health and Wellness
- Leadership
- Community Service
As a result of our program, our Pearls are provided with a network of women who believe in them, who provides them with the necessary tools to achieve greatness. We cultivate within them the belief that
they ARE ALREADY equipped with what they need to achieve their dreams. We urge them to dream BIG and always GIVE BACK.
